As I interviewed expert after expert for this recent LYBL Series, one thing just kept coming up for me. And this was how vitally important each and every one of us is in this world.
To often it is easy to say things like, “I’m just one person” or “My one vote won’t count” and then end up doing nothing. And hearing, just before I sat down to write this, of yet another shooting, it is so clear to me that we need EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US.
Getting to interview all the people that I have (60+ over 3 interview series/summits) and then getting to speak with many of you I am very aware of how much talent, passion, and gifts that are out there in the world.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU BRING YOUR GIFTS TO THE WORLD!!
I am reminded of the quote, “Don't ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” ~Harold Whitman.
So whether your passion is people, animals, environment, schools, your family, global issues, etc WE NEED YOU!
Which brings me to a question I have for you. What is stopping you? What small-minded thinking is keeping you from bringing your unique gifts into the world?
Yes, I said small-minded. Any thought that stops you from going for it? Small-minded. You are much stronger than these thoughts. You are much more powerful then these thoughts. You are bigger than these thoughts.
So. What is one thing you will do today to move towards putting your unique gifts into the world? Don’t wait. The world needs YOU.
