I know this time of year it can be a little hard to let yourself be a little "selfish". It's the season of giving! And it is. And....it's always the season of self-care. I feel a little like I'm ranting about an over-ranted about topic...and yet. I see women all over the place over working, putting themselves last, running themselves ragged.
And from this place of burn out, I often hear the same thing from women which is some version of having to "earn" their worthiness through being productive.
As an amazing mentor once said to me....
"WHAT IF YOU STOPPED PUTTING YOUR WORTHINESS ON THE TABLE AS THOUGH IT WAS NEGOTIABLE"???
Imagine for a moment, deciding how you want to spend your very precious time and money without "deserving" being a factor, without "earning it" being a factor.
You make decisions and choices about your time and money based on desire and being in alignment with your goals and values. Period.
